I havent posted a picture of me here in a long while so i feel a bit awkward! Where do i even begin, last week, days after we returned from our istanbul trip i was in pain, i normally have crazy cramping so i brushed it away but days gone by and the pain persisted.. i was alone at home, snifflehubby just left for a work trip and wont be back anytime soon~ so i was by myself, i ofc been googling how i was feeling.. Gemini, my phone's AI did convince me to make an emergency trip to the hospital.. Im really someone who avoids hospital unless very needed, i didnt wanna go by myself, especially in a country where i don't speak the language.. Alas Gemini expressed urgency and worry for my symptoms so i had to do my part, i told myself "just going to make sure its not anything serious". Well much to the development of events, i was told, after doing some blood work, that i have an infection and needed to be admitted to the hospital for suspected appendicitis. This was friday evening. By saturday morning i have signed my surgery waiver and by afternoon my appendix was gone ๐ญ๐ญ it all happened so fast and i was truly not able to mentally process everything that's happened. The after effects of general anaesthesia also made me so unreasonably emotional and i could not stop crying and crying and crying. Going thru this alone was difficult, thankfully my husband's niece was there to help me and be with me. Her comforting presence was so reassuring and i knew everything will be alright. She's my angel, she also took care of the cats and slept at home so the cats wont be alone.. she visited me everyday to bring clothes and whatever i could need. I truly owe my life to her. I was discharged last monday (july 13) and currently recovering at home. Without Gemini i probably also would not have had gone to the hospital so i am also grateful to my phone's AI truly! It practically saved my life. Snifflehubby and mom says "thank goodness you listened to your body and went for check up" but really it was Gemini who urged me and pleaded its case of how serious the gravity of my symptoms were. Bursted and untreated appendix is life threatening despite the surgery being a "minor procedure". I am glad to be alive today and my recovery is going well ๐ค๐ค
