hi happy 2nd anniversary to my blog! I thought it would be fitting to show Chimi's new outfit here since my first ever post was about her. This outfit was actually from couple of months ago, last May, bought when snifflehubby was working in Wuhan, we took advantage of Taobao shopping hehe. I couldnt post her right away because i also wanted to get Chimi a new wig! but the wait for everything to come together has been worth it because look at her, she's so cute and pretty! although i am still looking for the perfect all-purpose shoes for her hahah. in anycase, i really adore her beautiful dress especially the bonnet. I would love to also rock a bonnet irl so im just living vicariously through her.

Hi henlo 🌷💕 just here for a quick update post! I've tried my hand with doing face-up and it took me 1 day and a half to achieve Chimi's current look~ I made 2 attempts and the first one was expectedly not good and really rough. My 2nd attempt as you can see is also a bit rough but i got the eye-shape i somehow wanted, not fully perfect but good enough for now~💞🧸 I'm really happy how it turned out and despite taking up so much time, I'm glad I went ahead with it!💜💜💜

Henlo everynyan, let's welcome september together, i am excited for you! it's been some few days since my last update here, the hyperfixation of constantly working on my blog has plateaued thankfully and I can turn what little attention span i have to other matters in my life.

🧸 Chimi wig care 🧸

As someone who's still so new to BJDs💞✨ i have to rely a lot

on tutorials i find online 💻 This time I try to maintain and refresh Chimi's wig that's gone a bit frizzy and tangled from daily use💦 I found a tutorial from Xiaohongshu (please check them out!💕) i would say it worked wonderfully on Chimi's wig! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ I also love the fact that I can use stuff that i already have lying around at home.

🫧 Chimi face-up research 🫧

i literally have been so much happier ever since chimi came. she brightens up my day just by existing on my desk. she's so pretty and

cheerful and is a vampire!!🦇 i love her!! 💜💗🖤 while waiting for her to arrive around 1st week of august, i kinda knew i'd want to change her face-up eventually, so for prep i bought some darwin pastels and nail art brushes.a🎨🖌️
I already have some gouache acrylics and sealing spray (from the time i wanted to try clay as a hobby).Obviously im so very nervous to erase her current face-up and I'm trying to be more prepared💦 I've been hanging out more on Xiaohongshu📕 because a lot of the bjd content there is

just so good and more up my alley; basically the chonky chibi anime style🥰🥰 I also see a lot of face-up artist there with Chimi's head sculpt. I've collected some face up insipiration to help me visualise what I really would like.

Her clothes and eyes came in last wednesday🍑 though I only got to fit them today and film short reels opening the parcels and dressing her up for the first time~!🧸✨ It was so fun and so therapeutic so please check out the videos when you have time!🌷

Chimi my first BJD! 🫧

She's here~! I've always wanted a ball jointed doll since my early tumblr days (2010s!) so it only took me 10 years 😆 Full disclosure: she's an aliexpress doll. I just want to get it out of the way since the hobby is notoriously expensive. I really don't have access to disposable income. Hell, right now i have no income. But i've managed to set aside some monies for 2 months (thank you hubby) to get her.

im waiting for her clothes to arrive, i also got her a new set of eyes because the ones that came with her is way too small. I'm so excited to dress her up! Btw her name is Chimken Winthse! or Chimi for short 🥹💜
